I was privileged to spend a week in Rome, staying at the Austrian Cultural Forum. It was a stone’s throw from the National Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art and the Etruscan Museum at the Villa Giulia. After spending the day criss- crossing the city, I spent the the night hours painting 6 watercolours, each inspired by the day’s impressions.
